May's trip to Grand Canyon
This is at a Deer Farm in Arizona. We went there in May to celebrate us as a family. Liza loved petting the deer and tried to help feed them, but there were about 20 of them who surrounded us when they realized we had food. This picture is after we ran out of food and the deer stopped swarming us.
We also visited the Grand Canyon. It was a long drive but definately a lot of fun. By the second day, Liza was tired and worn out but still enjoyed it. We found out there is just too much to look at and will have to make another trip down there in the future.
(Of course we took a lot of pictures but our computer takes about 8 minutes to download one picture so I'll have to post more when I have more time. )

Update
I realized we haven't updated our blogspot in a really long time, so I'm just going to update what has been going on in our lives.
Liza is a growing girl who will be 2 at the end of December. She is learning lots of new words everyday and is just getting smarter and smarter.
Brendon is still at Discover working lots of mandatory overtime and is continuing to work for Dan's foods one night a week for extra money. He works very hard and is very happy when he gets to be home with his wife and daughter.
Melissa is staying at home with her little girl and is expecting another girl at the beginning of February. She is way excited to have a newborn again.
We just bought and moved into a condo in Taylorsville, which we love so far. It is two-levels, and has 2 bedrooms and 2.5 bathrooms. It is very nice to have the extra space and Liza loves it too. She loves that she has a lot more room to run around. Since we are in a place that can have pets, we brought Sammy the dog to live with us. So far, we're not sure if he likes it because he has to be on a leash to go outside to do his thing. He's used to just being let out and free. Anyway, Liza loves to play with him (which, Sammy does not like either). We're hoping he'll learn to love it here and that I will too. With another baby on the way, we'll have to see if we can handle having him here.

Kisses
Christmas morning, Liza found a surprise at the foot of the tree. A BIG bear. She loves stuffed animals and was so excited to see this new bear. We had let her snuggle with the bear at the store a couple times and then decided to buy it one day and she kept looking at us like, "we're really taking this with us??" We then hid it until Christmas morning. She was so excited.

We had an appointment with Liza's helmet doctor on November 25th and he told us that there was no reason for Liza to continue wearing the helmet any longer. It was as round as it was going to get. She had worn it full time for 3 months and than 1 month just at nap time and bed time, so we were all excited to hear that we got the okay for her to be officially done. Especially Liza, until she bumps her head...ouch!
